They say they have never have one not pass?

 

They also said I could use one in a smoke controlled area just dont tell the council. Only problem is you need planning permission to get the RHI.

 

Even the single heater that past the test was exceptionally close to failing at 27.6 pm when the limit is 30 pm. It seems stupid to me that you can test a 175 kw plant and then assume that a 195kw and 295kw plant will also pass the test without actually testing them.

Are u sure u need planning permission to get RHI?

There is a great deal of misinformation on this thread.

 

Should really be no need for misinformation its all on the ofgem site you just need to trawl through it all rather than cherry pick the bits you like.

Jon I no nothing about the RHI but no of two operations that don't have planning that they need and still get the RHI unless that's changed very recently

 

 

More fool them. Specifically says in the ofgem files that planning will not be checked at time of application but will be required when inspected. Suggest they get a retrospective planning application in ASAP and hope the inspectors dont pick them up on it when they come to inspect.

Will be ordering one in next few week and asked this and they said ofgem aren't interested in planning and u can dry wood in kiln before u put it in burner
