It works well, I may try offering a processing service, but its not fun to drive down the country lanes.

What processor is that? 350??

I move my 280 on a small low loader towed by my tractor, the elevator doesn't really fold up enough in transport position to make it handy enough to move on the Front or rear 3point linkage.

Our tajfun has slats all the way from the splitting chamber to the elevator which cleans 50 % of the debris then the end log cleaner removes 45% you end up with a better end product for sure.

Tajfun are no to produce a clean product - perhaps make up a template based on the TJ and get the gas axe going on the Posch - see no reason why not.

We are looking for some sort of tumbler get the rubbish out after kiln drying. A lot of the bark comes off when kiln drying so we are trying to separate that mainly

Bit of a derail but what kiln do you have that's got to be the next step for me just need a bank foolish enough to lend me the coin

Here are some pictures of the quick 'n dirty screen I knocked together for our Bilke last year.

The Bilke tends to generate a good bit of bitty stuff, but this removes 3/4 or so of it.

The material collected burns just fine in the gassifying boiler

Looks good mate does the job what do you think of the bilki what diameter will it cut up to?

That a sturdy looking piece of work, just needs some sides to stop the few logs which escape off the screen.

Like the use of dumper also, as if you are smart you can get rid of the remainder of the undersize material that gets past the screener before you containerise the split logs.
