Somebody I know is selling his single cab Ford Ranger. I'm just wondering how much would it cost to convert it into a tipper?

Between £2'500 & £3'500 deepening on how high you have the panels and barn doors eats.

If you buy 2nd hand gear off ebay etc probably £600 if you DIY or less..

You can buy a larger one off a transit and reduce size. Just make sure tipping gear will fit.

A tipper body from any transit LDV or cabstar then cut to size and bolt it on might need to fab up a few brackets & buy a length of box section etc , should be all sorted for £500ish including converting body to high sides

I have a 02 plate transit tipper that needs lot work doing for mot

could ust tipping cradle, pump off that then sell rest for spares

drives and runs perfect

I did a 110 hi cap landrover few yrs back with exactly same gear

mechanic charged me £300 to convert and did it in day

you would use excisting body on ranger
