No one could have foreseen this very unlucky incident coming. It is very rare that they will red flag a race because a vehicle has come off the track and is being lifted out. There were yellow flags being waved so drivers were aware. Bianchi was just extremely unlucky to have lost it in that exact area, 10meters further round the corner and he would have hit the barrier just past Sutil. No one should be to sent to prison. (Unless they shot his tyre and caused him to crash).

Hopefully they bring in something like Code60 that they have in Lemans. So the cars will be limited to a certain speed through that (or several) marshal sectors, which would slow the cars to a safer speed but you don't need to bring the safety car out and delay the race for a few laps.
