I think you will find that they shouldnt discriminate against non AA approved contractors by law.

 

Youll have to excuse me cos' I havent read the thread in its' entirity as yet....I have tho' just read this article....

I think the view reported therein discriminates against all but AA contractors....and clearly describes the Council view.....OOpps!:confused1:

Whats wrong with hand delivering leaflets anyway? There is a big difference betweeen leaflet dropping and door knocking/cold calling though, I think the LA in question really should get its facts straight before going public with comments like that!

What most will advise is not to go on the leaflet alone and to back it up with referencing the firm in local ads also.

 

I personally would not touch any contractor that distributes leaflets with only a mobile number, no address, and no listing in the local phone book.

 

But to most, that should be common sense :001_smile:
