Green furniture direct out of the log... let's see your designs!

Looking for inspiration for character for my new log house I'm building I came across these ideas for log chairs. Love them. They don't necessarily need to be attached to a house.

 

Planners made me go for log post and beam in the end (after requesting that if I did another log cabin could I please render it externally... the horror!), so can't do it, still using WRC butts fluting up to 4 feet wide though.

Like the bench and the house! Log bench looks very natural but quite tricky to make.

Yew coffee table, more sanding needed and a lower shelf. Resin to be added later.

Nice work Ian - I like the legs on that as they go just right with the top... always the hardest thing to get right IMO

Hi Ian nice table, how have you fixed the legs on I am always looking for new ways to attatch legs , ways that cant be seen I think are best , like Rob D I always find legs the hardest I have a stunning piece of yew but just cant find legs that work , will post some pics and see what you guys think , Nice Table

I've done it this way to try for flat pack , so people have no excuses not to buy 😁. Next time I'm going to cut a channel in so metal sits flush with wood. So 4 bolts and its flat.

Cedar of Lebanon I had planked up and made into a massive chunky table by my dad.
