Right then, i am a husky man all day long, but i have had the opportunity to be sponsored by Makita to do the loggers competitions. I've had two of them for comps and they both came from Germany. What a saw! I have a 390xp which is ported. Both the in and out ports have been tweaked, the air filter and the air box have all had treatment and the 7900 eats it big time!!! The husky is runing at 13600 but 7900 is kicking out 18000. All my saws run aspen fuel, this just my in put..:001_cool:

Thanks all, i know you all rated the stihl 460 very highly. But my dads been using huskys without any problems for years and has talked me into buying a 372xp. Cost me £600 all in. I'm looking forward to collecting it tomorrow and seeing how it performs.

well i'll support the 361, its all ive used for 8 years now and would still be on my first one if had'nt got pinched.

good alround saw, light and easy on fuel. 18" bar is ideal as not to long to sharpen when hit metal or stone in wood.

good luck with your choice, but it is all personal preference
