Just landed a new 560xp. Used it first time today. Really lovely saw, bags of power for its size. Previously using a 346xp.and sometimes an ms261. This is MUCH better!! :)

Take the spark screen out if you haven't already .:001_smile:

Unless it's a blue cover thingy, which in that case it's off......

On the exhaust there is a little screw that holds a screen in the exhaust outlet. Take it out it just gums up with carbon deposits and saps power.

Mesh spark arrestor screen in the exhaust out let . One screw and it slides out .

Hi stubby there great saws I was talking to eddy and he said why did take so long to get 560 well I said EDDY because the old keep going Wrong mate I no yours stubby been a go saw but must of them not so good but my 2014 been good thanks Jon

Take the spark screen out. Keep the fins clean, keep the air filter clean. Oh and use the de comp button or you may break the starter.

I will do.

I've heard that running the saw in is best done by reasonably high revs and plenty of breaks so as not to let the heat build up too much? Is that right?

There are only 2 speeds . Flat stick or idle . So cut flat out but not for long periods until the rings have bedded in . Set auto tune as per the book .
