So after doing a fair bit of reading I've decided to go with a new ms461 its seems the 460 and the new 461 have many followers.

I'll take one as well then, 460/461 are good saws but seems like the OPs budget has swollen somewhat!

 

Unless its another dodgy deal from E-bay that usually ends in tears...

I said a few pages back asking is it worth putting the extra money to getting a new ms461 to which I didn't get a exact reply so I did lots of searching and decided to put the extra cash towards it.

But if you do know of any where I can get on for less than £500 that would be awesome cheapest I've seen up to now is just over £750, But will nip in to my local dealer and see what they can do.

You have made a good choice. I love my one. £750 is a decent price.

Good choice - plenty of power there

 

Be aware you maybe into class 2 PPE with a 461 as chain speed probably >20 m/s

 

be helpful if dealers advised on PPE class for saw as the chain speed information seems well hidden!
