:I have just took delivery of a new oxdale and have been using it all day it does go well cuts really quick and much safer than our old mcconnel allwork bench. But it does need a few improvements one of them being an extension welded on the table so its longer so when you cut a log you can push it straight into a bucket easier its a bit slow grabbing it every time.It is super quick when you can keep pushing it over the end.But overall im happy with it for the money £1090 delivered.:001_smile:

Had the hakki pilke eagle for about a month now and I love it. So much quicker than using a chainsaw. Have to watch your hands when using the splitter though as can grab and spin the log resulting in bruised knuckles.(I was warned about this but had to see for myself ha ha).Have now started splitting the straight grained stuff at 3 foot long and then sawing it. Very happy with the machine and would buy another if the need ever arose again.

Oops!!! The pto shaft you gave me disintegrated at the weekend. Bearings were getting worn but thought if I greased it to hell it would last till Christmas when I would have time to replace them. There was metal flying everywhere. Have a few spare shafts so no big deal.

Think I'll give the kindling a miss:laugh1:
