If sheeted, FF reckon 1 cubic metre at 800kg green will drop to 400kg.

 

Can't help you there but am always amazed at how much moisture timber loses in moisture when stacked.

For instance the 2 climbing poles used at the APF were used In 2012 then they were stacked in the farm yard they weighed 6.5 tons. 2 years later they used the same ones and they weighed 4.5 tons. 2 tons in moisture.wow

So approx 60% to 40% moisture over 2 years.

Yes. Just incredible. APF back at Ragley in 2016 so they can't use same poles again. Poles are 100 mtrs total ht with approx 10 mtrs in the ground 85 to 90mtrs above.
