Pricing hedges

I have topped some conifer hedges that would make grown men cry.

Sometimes I would rather be up a 70ft black pop than a conny hedge.

I would ALWAYS prefer to be up a pop, than doing crappy hedges

 

I charge MORE for hedges than trees!!

Of course I have all the answers. I've been doing this job since 82 and working for myself since 94 if I remember rightly. I reckon I know my job pretty well tbh and certainly know what I can and cannot charge in my area. I must be doing something right on account of having a weeks holiday next week then four weeks work booked in.

It is fine that you have a formula that works for you, but because others do it differently does not mean they are wrong.

 

I will certianly have all the answers when (if) I retire to a Villa in sardinia and then I will have fiscal proof I have been doing something right:001_smile:

 

Oh and I also hate doing conifer hedges which is part of the reason I am not cheap on them, means I get less to do and the ones I do get pay well = win, win.
