Mr stihlben,

Not wanting to stand on any toes or anything but earlier in the thread you mentioned you may have a spare lathe or two? If its two or matt for some reason doesnt want one could i possibly put my name down on the list please.

Had a go like 15 years ago at school, quite enjoyed it, but just havent had chance to get a go since.

Many regards

Dave

Who wants a small pillar drill then??? Same thing again, free to whoever wants it...

I'd love it, and I'll be passing in a couple of weeks. What sort of size is it (Van or Car), I may have to explain taking the van down instead of the car!

I'm just setting up a lathe (once I move the greenhouse to make a workshop), so need to get such tools.

Thanks

Tim

Had time to pull out the lathe from my barn and took a photo, there were 2 but my sister sold the other to a friend (only told me of this this afternoon).

Just needs going over with a bit of wire wool as has a bit of surface rust, good for a freebie though...

Got 2 lengths of tool rest, drive center and a couple of faceplates...

That'll get you up and running with a bit of work 👍 Great offer.

Now you just need some chisels and then learn how to get them properly sharp (really struggled with this bit myself)
