The man who owns the local chip shop ordered a crate from the baltics to save a tenner on my logs. The logs were too big so asked me if he could have a free chopping block. I guess I need to order my fish and chips from scotland. People just dont get the buying local. The local stove seller gets his kindling from certainly wood as its 10 p a net cheaper. Any body who asked where to get a stove I used to send them to him now I just say go on the net. People selling a local product need to support the local economy. :001_smile:

I can do ibc crates with liners for £35 ea but they have a drop of water based pva glue in the bottom. Tidy single trip ibcs.

Just trying to help out,he asked for cages not IBC, which D V Fuels do for 18.50,why spend 35 and just to waste perfectlly good inner

Title of thread is "IBC Cages". I am sure anyone would be interested in cheaper alternatives so it is good that you mention them.

I find the best thing about IBC's is that they stack safely with a positive interlock (metal/plastic pallets only) and that they are built to take the weight.
