Have you tried sharpening the chain?

 

Im not being funny by saying that but sometimes they can come from the factory poorly sharpened, I guess its when the grinding wheels go out of shape or something.

 

Anyway, there is nothing wrong with 91vxl, OK the stihl full chisel is a lot better but as long as the saw is running right and the chain is sharpened correctly you should have no problems.

It's OK until you bury it in wood. Then it can be a bit rough.

According to their North American web site it is, but for some odd reason it is not listed in Europe?

 

Since there are issues With the VXL, that looks like a bad decition, likely made by the European distributer?:sneaky2:

we've had same problem , had to resort to Oregon chains for 201T because Mr Stihl won't let F R Jones post me those nice genuine stihl parts ,

 

 

really? thought stihl had changed the policy?

There are several outlets on Ebay Uk that will post Stihl chains & doesn"t sponsor Rob carry & post stihl bits
