Never owned any but find it fascinating. We have pereguin falcons at the back of our house so don't think they'd last long. An amazing sport, does it cost much money to get into it?

You would loose a lot to the falcon's, a lot of people are packing in because of it!

You can do it expensive and you could spend thousands but I have tried to keep it cheep!

It was a working mans sport but it's been turned into a money making industry.

There are a lot of people in it with money being able to send loads and loads of bird and auto box cleaners.

Get a few in a shed for next season.

I'd absolutely love to but my garden backs onto a quarry and there is at least 3 pairs of falcons on it and when they breed you regularly see them catching pigeons. Don't think if I I had pigeons they'd last five mins. It's a fascinating hobby, I've spoken to people who keep birds about it before and am always surprised how much there is to it.

Good luck with your birds, I'd love to see more pics and hear about how you get on.
