Camping in trees?

I have one of these: Camping Hammock It is OK, but can get a bit warm if you sleep inside it.

If I had thought about it a bit more, I would have got one of these with the integrated mozzi/rain covers DD Jungle Hammock Modular Hammock System

I know you wanted something for 2, but presumably you could just put two side by side in a good location. Both relatively cheap compared to the other items you have been recommended.

Got 2 of the jungle hammocks but by god they've jumped up in price. I did like the set up they had on Countryfile last night

glad you liked it ;) it was my rig, the lower platform was the stingray upside down and the upper level sleeping compartment was the connect

literally only used for that one job so grab your-self a bargain ;)

It was the set up on country file that gave me the idea! What did you use to make the tent waterproof as I see they come just as a mosquito net roof as standard? I like the idea of having a platform to lay about on as well, been trying to think of ways to make one myself but don't think I'd ever fully trust my homemade platform.

i have one of their custom tarps/ rainflys, and god did it piss down that night! i use treeboats usually they are deffo the best but are only 1 man, when the missus comes with we can share the connect very comfortably, if my hammock's a rocking ;)

for treetop camping the treeboat has no rival unless you're concerned about weight that is. henassy is good but even the zip opening ones arnt that great to get in & out of 8ft up. My longboat has cosy insulation and the tent which is really neat! it lets you sleep in the open until the rain dropping on your face wakes you up, lean forwards sweep back 4 clips and your in the dry!

the tentsile flys must be put on on or near the ground unless you have multiple guys up multiple trees that is! but man it looks sooo cool!!

PS ill include the tentsile stingray rain fly in the sale!
