Angry Protein Shakes?

Was chatting with a dietician the other day who told me that even atheletes don't have to take much extra protein. However, if you want protein on the cheap, use dried milk powder, and if you want a good recovery drink: chocolate milkshake!!! Contains good mix of fat, carbs and protein. Works for me!

Brother in Law is well into those protein shakes - has loads of different tubs and easily has 4 a day - still eats crap though (thinks the shakes will make up for it!) and is proper angry all the time. Never thought of linking the two but it makes a bit of sense.

 

More of a steak bake and pint kind of guy meself

If he,s taking that much protein he must be bodybuilding, maybe he,s taking steroids too.

Did wonder that - For how hard he's working he doesn't seem big enough to be on steroids too - he's 6ft4 and still only something like 14 stone.

 

Did have a mate who started bodybuilding and taking steroids - he went the other way - went really quiet and depressed and in the end died falling from a balcony on holiday. "Accident" apparently.

yip milk does the job... carbs are far more important if you want energy to climb. protien is worst for energy
