I'm really cross with the dealer I bought the tractor from. It was probably him who bodged the repair last time around. Shortly after buying the tractor I found that he had been too lazy to free off the brakes and had just angle ground right through both of the inch thick brake activation rods!

Thankfully he has stopped trading now, said he found the tractor game too difficult. He also said he was shocked that I had got back in touch with him to complain about the problems I had with the tractor he sold me. He was suggesting that it was just tough luck that the tractor was shoddy and it's the risk you take when buying second hand.

 

All in all a thoroughly unpleasant fellow

Carraro. Ferrari and bcs share components I believe. Maybe you could get a manual box to fit.

Thanks for the suggestion. I may be wrong but I think it is Ferrari, BCS and Pasquali that are basically from the same factory. Carraro are independent.

You could very well be right.hope you get sorted at a reasonable price. I've been there with a transmission repair bill that cost nearly the value of the tractor.

It hurts.

I am hopeful that Riko and Carraro may have found a solution. I'll let you know how we get on
