have a look on etsy.com, and folksy.com, I think you will be surprised what work of this quality goes for, £200 wouldnt buy a leg of the inlay table

Watched documentary some time ago

They were restoring stuff of this standard from couple hundred years ago

They had guy recreating stuff and he was charging mega thousands

Perhaps your dad should recreate antique deigns

the old man after server all months has turned out another chess/coffee table...

 

the wood used is as follows

 

oak

mahogany

pine

acacia burr

teak

sequoia (redwood)

and that yellow wood that I can't remember ( bush/shrub that has thorns )

 

 

what you all think???
