A shout out for Meindl airstreams. I was pushing the trailer hitch with the TR6 on to the towball. Only a few inches off when the the jockey wheel slid through the clamp.

The a frame slid down my shin and rested on top of my boot. Although I couldn't move my foot it didn't hurt as the boot had the weight.

Jono to the rescue with a length of wood to lever it off. Readjusted the jockey wheel and made sure the clamp was TIGHT.

 

 

Only just back to work after the very same thing happened to me...

Busted metatarsal and crush damage to the surrounding tissue. It's taken 4 months to heal completely.

Airstreams as well.. hate to think how bad it would have been with lesser boots on....

Lessons learnt this week.

1) don't promise customer fences without checking suppliers. (4 week wait - not mentioned on website)

2) when building panels wear knee pads. Block paving hurts knees lol

About 25 min to build a 6x6 panel then the same again later when I domed the tops. It was too dark for a completed pic today
