Boughton winch

Agreed on that, sure beats any modern timber winch iv ever used, the only 1 I think that bettered a Boughton was a 20ton twin speed cooks that was on the back of a murehill, now that thing could pull!and the tractor never flinched as I think the bloke recond it was over 8ton of tractor.

For those who asked for pictures.

Talking to another lad and the shaft might not come out but you just put a pto uj spline thing inbetween.

Also if his thinking is right and the model number is related to the pull size mine is a 13.5ton pull. Anyone concur or correct this??
