Hi Folks,

 

Can anyone provide good training providers in the area.

I would rather get advice from experienced people than just turn up to a course that looks good on a website but turns out to be rubbish.

I believe it's not called that anymore, it's something like NPTC City & Guilds 201, 202 & 203. Chris Simpson at Informed Tree Services in Hamilton is as good as it gets. The course might not be run in Hamilton, might be nearer to you. Ask.

Elmwood will be ur closest agri college, guessing they will do chainsaw courses, think they're now part of the SRUC (same as Barony which is the college near Dumfries which runs a few courses, i done all mine there)
