What tractor and what's wrong. Pm me and I will see if I can help

Its a Holder A15 and the PTO has stopped working under load, just making a clicking noise. When not under load PTO works fine engaging and disengaging using the clutch and no clicking noise.

Worn shaft somewhere?

Is there a shear mechanism that needs adjustment! I've heard of such things as two dimpled plates which had ball bearings in the dimples. These plates are forced together under spring tension and over time these springs can weaken....

Have you tried Graham Fawcett Plant at Bentham?

Bald Ed

Thanks for the recommendation but Treequip recommended Nick Hunt in Mossley who is a bit closer so I have taken the tractor there I will let you know how we get on.

Cannot see any shear mechanism in the tractor parts manual but I do suspect a shear pin somewhere.

Sounds like the splines in the centre of the clutch friction disc have striped!

Is it a chipper, is it a mower or another broken stump grinder who cares we'll fix it!
