Unimog tyres?

If you are doing more than 30 mph often, then I wouldn't put underated tyres on. I pay £495.00 for continentals. I do a stack of miles at 50+ and are fully loaded all the time. I also run Michelin's and don't notice any appreciable difference between the two.

Hi Steven were we talking at the Arb show you have red land rover thanks nice mog thanks Jon

Hi there Jon!

I do like kit....thats why I have no money::biggrin:

The red landy has been ill. Poorly front diff....most of the internal bolts had gone through the splines with much noises. But Mr Carrington sorted me and now as good as new!

Are you going to show in Sep?

Thanks, yeah we run over 30mph too often to run underrated tyres. Besides I don't think they would last too well. Buying cheap is often a false economy...... Nice Mog.

Michelins if the pocket allows. I use a lot of axiobibs and machxbibs. Never had one fail. Just check speed and load rating. Tried all sorts, titan grizzly bear or some sh1t like that, one blew up. Trelleborg ampt something or other they keep delaminating between cleat and side wall. Alliance are just nasty. Continental are too thin in the side wall. Nokian are good stiff walled forest tyre, but like another half again on michelins. Vredestein comtrac are pretty good but probably not big enough.

Anyway i will shut up. Hope this helps

mitas are hard to beat, price is good, MT3 is a good road comprimise, got the extra bits to keep road noise down without comprimising off road ability, if your not doing a lot of off road work, consider getting a set of 22.5" rims and running super singles, cheaper, quieter, longer lasting
