I was going to buy a table from a DIY store but nothing took my fancy, so I made one it is an old metal work lathe bed and I put some oak cross boards to screw the top to its about 9foot long and about 32" wide so with the lathe bed it is extremely heavy but I don't plan on moving it, the boy is giving it a coat of linseed oil he likes a job. I've got some more douglas slabs I'm willing to sell if any one interested
