Anyone use one of these for tree surgery? Need a 3.5t truck and there is one for sale already kitted out for tree work. Bit concerned about the 110hp when it is loaded and pulling the chipper though.

Cheers...Al

Hi we have a mewp on nissan cabstar, the Renault maxity is the same ,it's a joint venture between nissan and Renault

Our cabstar has 130hp engine which is plenty of power for our mewp which is 3.5 tonne the 110 hp may be a little under powered with a full load and chipper.

We find the cab good spacious and it drives well and take the load well.

I've seen the truck your looking at and it looks very clean and tidy with a good body and not a bad price.

I inquired about that truck about a month ago its was sold weeks before. I also had the same concerns regarding power.

Ok, thanks for letting me know its sold already. Don't you just love traders who don't update there website!

Cheers....Al.
