Max RPM dolmar 112?

nieghbour gave me his dolmar 112. new starter cord in and its cutting like a champ! almost well enough to fully convert me to only using old dolmars. if only my biceps were up to it.

 

anyway just wondering if anyone knows roughly (or exacty) what the max rpm is for them?

Ehow says Dolmar saws run between 12,500 and 13,800 depending on model but they don't say which model runs at what.

There's no max speed given in my 113/116 manual.

 

They're quite torqy low down so 12.5-13 k should be O.K

the 112 is a nice saw the earlier models came out with points then they gave them electronic ignition and they brought out the silver/black limited edition model then they discontinued the 114 model and then was born another good saw 115

 

they are torquey motors that always start well but they are'nt the highest revving engines just look after the chain brake getting harder to find

mine is all orange. made in west germany. the brake bands hard to find? the actual brake handle is arleady a bit cracked and zip tied (still totally solid and safe mind you).

 

i notice on the dolmar site you can still get 115's but not a makita equiv. loosers.

 

can you get them in uk?

the dolmar 109, 111, and 115 are all being sold by dolmar now
