Cabstar chip box

Hi guys,

Very interested to see your Cabstar chip boxes. I would like to know how they're made where they're made and how much they cost. I'm currently looking for a second hand Cabstar around the 2007 up to 2010 mark and will need to get a body built as I can't find a single one that's already been converted for arb use! Pictures will be great

Thanks

Jordan

We are selling our 2007 cabstar with half finishes chip box. It has an ally frame, ply sides, just needs a small roof mounting and some foamex boards fixed to make it perfect.

The truck it's self has done less than 40k miles, I'm very good condition, but could do with 4 tyres.

Looking for £7500.

Got a full side of the grp paneling from a wagon breakers, mate fabricated the doors and got me all the aluminium trimming . Custom cover was about £170 and I think in total it cost me about £600 and a weekend to do it .

Where did you get the tarp/roof made up. I saw it in another thread and I've been meaning to ask for ages.

We had a trailer cover made by Specialised Canvas Services in Staveley because they are handy for us and they did a sterling service, dropped the trailer off and they rang us when it was done.

Thanks. I forgot to say that I'm in his area ish so would be handy for me. Although an excuse to go to hawkshead brewery is always welcome but it means going in the truck. 😄
