Were you in a hot air balloon??

 

Is it a wood land from above??

 

well done huck.

that was a photo from directly straight down over the trees, a view we never see.

 

photos taken with a Canon HF100 camcorder too

Hot Air Balloons are awesome!! I managed to get a free ride on one last year, it took off at about 5ish and we landed just as the sun was going down. I've got some photos on my phone but because you can't stand far enough back, all the picutres look like I've been Super-imposed on!!! :001_smile:

you were so close too. it did feel like i was passing over models.

 

when you are up there its amazing how much you can hear from the ground, we could hear people talking.

 

oh and those burners kick out some heat

Thanks again for those pics. I really want a balloon ride now. I'm told that it is silent as you are moving with the wind aswell (obviously excluding burner sound!)

Thats a cool treescape you have where you live. And it looks like a lovely day for a balloon ride.:001_smile:

 

its the usk and wye valleys, only 45min drive from my home, excellent place for lazy canoeing too:001_cool:
