We have Roundup Biactive and the heavier agri Glyphogan 480. We use the Biactive for the path edges and spraying car parks. And use the 480 for Knotweed. We use it at a stronger mix than is recommended for the JK unless it is next to a watercourse which is where we use the biactive but inject it neat into the stems.

You can get the adjuvant separately if you want, too. I use Solar Plus when I'm spraying the broadleaves with Polo. The docks go down in a day...

Am planning to try Clinic Ace plus Solar Plus against RoundUp to see if it's as effective. It'll still be a fraction of the price.

Scott's reAct is great at controlling nettles, even preventing regrowth the following year. Can be used in amenity grassland and woodlands and is relatively inexpensive at £40 per 5 litres. BUT has been axed courtesy of our friends in Brussels. You can buy up to end of June and then it can be used until September 2015. Matt

are there major differences between Roundup,Gallup,Rosate,Clinic ace?

I wish to eradicate nettles, weeds etc at home .

There are hardly any minor differences never mind major ones.

Works better on nettles when they are very young and growing rapidly or later on just as they start to seed. The later one can be very effective.
