It's been a good few years since I had him as a trainer. Didn't realise he wasn't well.

 

I hear he's still climbing though.

 

Edit: thought you were on about Matt Brooker. I've had Paul as a trainer recently. He is indeed still doing it.

Paul had a heart attack before the last APF, he did my cs30/31/32 & 38 assessments, Martin (the pirate) and Ian have taught me for all but my 39, I was assessed by Ian on that, in the worst possible weather!

He took my training for 40+41 a couple of months back, he even had a little climb (once I showed him how to tie a vt :P)!

 

He's an alright bloke. Doesn't like being questioned on his methods much though!

Paul B assessed me on my 38. Throwing sticks for the dogs was an important component of the assessment!!!! :)
