I actually put the vid together for treestuff.com, in highlighting some of their gear. But if you look past that theres actually some good footage. As dead trees go it wasn't a bad one.

Use HD setting

Try opening youtube on your safari browser, if it takes you to the mobile version of the site you can select desktop version in the menu, left hand side of the screen. Then just search for reg's vids from there.

Wish I had more than an iPhone, not been able to watch the last two vids!

Yep. It can be a pain sometimes. But a solution in this case:

• Switch to your main screen of apps

• Open You Tube from its app icon

• Enter 'dead fir removal', only without the apostrophes

• You should then be able to view the vid

Thanks. The ultra sling is quick and easy to use. It doesn't always align and hang through at the ideal length each time, as the diameter of the wood you're wrapping changes....but its never too far out. If you have lots of room to run the load it probably doesn't matter as much....but when as you get lower and have to stop the logs sooner a little more thought is needed. When I wasn't happy I just set it as a timber hitch instead. It has a lot of potential, definitely.
