Hi guys I'm thinking of buying a husqy t435 as a climbing saw but wanted to get some opinions before I got it. I'd like to get the t540 but can't afford it at the minute and hate the 201 so that's out

Cheers guys

Personally would say an MS200 may be the best choice. The spares are common and they are plentiful secondhand......but also sought after!

t435 has a bad reputation, ms150t may be an option, or as spud says a 200t second hand.

I have just decided to upgrade from my 192t, as it lacks a bit of umph for take downs, but it still does the job, will be getting a t540xp as they have a bigger set!

There are Echo, Efco and Makita alternatives at good prices as well if you look around the net.

I'd go for the echo cs360tes, excellent saw and would keep with an ms200 I recon. At under 400 you can't go wrong really!
