I used to be with them, but got a quote from the NFU that was less than half the price and included tool cover which I had never had previously despite having paid up to 7x more in the past with Lycetts, I sure hope they have sharpened their pencils!!

Heard recently NFU have very restrictive arb exclusions in their policies: no cover above a certain height, no cover for adjacent to highway etc. Did you find a way round that?? I'm in the market for renewal at the moment so would be interested to hear any details.

NFU don't touch mechanised harvesting so no good for me. Lycetts actually listened to what I needed, ticked all the customer service boxes and are covering six figure capital on forest machines for a good price. Clear-Arborplan had by comparison, laughable customer service and 50% higher premium.

I was with the NFU for about 5 years, but then as you say they got silly, I'm now with Arborisk, who are VERY completive, paying them half what I payed Lycetts 6+ years ago and Arborisk cover my tools, and paid out without issue when 3 saws were stolen

Arborisk for Arb are probably in the top 2; not so clued up on mechanised.

ARBORISK - Got my vote and they are personal to deal with. No "Muppet Call Centre mentality.

 

Came via recommendation and would do same myself.
