How much to sell my Kwikchip 120 2004 with blown engine for???

Ive had a Kwikchip 120 6" for a few years now. Today the engine blew. Cracked head or block

 

Im in two minds as to buy a new chipper and get what i can for my old one or to buy a new engine?

 

What should i do and how much would i get for my chipper with a buggered engine?

Some years back I bought a brand new 25hp Lombardini engine for my chipper.

It cost about 2.2k - that was about 6 years ago.

See what you can find at what cost.

See what a running chipper like yours sells for and decide what to do.

You might be able to pick up a half decent used engine.

 

If you like everything else about your chipper it may be worth fixing it.

What's the engine in your quickchip? Is a rebuild an option?

We got a new engine for one within two days from Italy, swopped it out in a back garden (we'd converted it from trailed to tracked), it's not that difficult to do

I have a 160 brilliant piece of kit, why not either rebuild or replace the engine?
