First tipper?

Hi chaps

 

Looking at getting my first tipper for my buisness, a Nissan Cabstar.

 

Has anyone any experience with them, pros/cons, economy etc..

 

Anything similar in size you could recommend?

 

Landy tippers are cool but fill up pretty quick and I don't really want a transit.

Brother in law had one and it was a good motor but the oil pump ran off the alternator and the belt broke, the engine kept going so he did too Do they still run the same system ?

Had them for the last 20 years, never had any issues. Got my new one coming next week. They carry more weight than anything else out there

Had one for the last 4yrs excellent truck, carrys weight brilliantly but is a bit hard on diesel, new ones might be better on fuel!

I'm pretty sold on the cabstar! Should be relatively cheap to insure? Time to find a peach! Cheers chaps

They are alright.. My first tipper was a cabstar. ****** love em so they must be half sensible lol

My first tipper was a cabstar, I had the old shape, and then I bought the turbo model which was a 52 plate both were brilliant but the oldest one was indestructible it was like a hilux! It held the weight brilliant and you could fill it to the brim and also get it anywhere especially when I put A/T tyres on it 100% get one!
