Forgive me if I'm being a muppet but is that for real?

No 'muppet' Mesterh but yes it's all too flippin' real. When my kids used to play tennis (Redhill, Surrey) I'd collect them 6pm of a summer's evening and watch flight after flight of 30+ birds go over - there were hundreds of them, all on their way to their tree roosts in nearby marshes.

They are typical parrot family; territorial, aggressive and working in numbers. Sadly I believe they are now recognised as 'British' birds. Perhaps with Warming we'll soon have Hummingbirds and Birds of Paradise to go with them! The others posting are dead right; the birds are a menace in this environment, beautiful though they maybe, but have you looked closely at a magpie in the sun? Luvvly plumage...!
