Harness life

What is the life of a Arb Harness when used in a commercial setting? I am looking to do my cs38/39 in the coming year, and am curious about the life of the kit.

I think it varies for different manufacturers, 3-5 years. I'm sure someone will be along shortly with some more accurate info.

A harness life is down to the user, I started with a weavers it lasted me 4 years, I'm on my 4th harness I've been climbing nearly 11 years

I had 2 harnesses in 20 years , climbing full time , I still have my 2nd a Willans t22 but hardly use it now . They are very robust and do not really wear out , I think the only thing that will weaken them is UV and petrol over time ! .

I'm on my second weaver, got 10 years out of first one, it looked rough as but nothing was about to break

6 months to 10 years are the manufacture's guidelines used in conjunction with your LOLER inspections
