Certainly that 380mm or so log coming through at 1.50 or so and split 6 ways left timber far to big for my customers. Would need to be half that size and cut at 200mm. Then another one coming through at 4.20 at the wedge gets dropped, top logs are huge.

 

Stoves are getting smaller as insulation levels improve and heat requirements drop. As a result demand for smaller logs will increase and demand for jumbos coming off that machine will decline.

Anyone interested in a slightly larger machine could view a Multitek, we have a new 1610EZ &.1620SS arriving today + there is a mobile unit we are building in the workshop.
