I think for snedding you would be hard pushed to beat the old 242 on a 13 ......

Good call :thumbup1:

550 on a 13" is about closest I've found to that though

Issues with my 2012 550

been back to dealer for 2 computer upgrades?

New chain brake lever (log hit it)

New air filter assembly

screw adjustment on air filter assembly. (choke lever kept dropping

with the slightest pull)

New engine (due to seizure, air leak in a pipe, probably caused when

they replaced air filter assembly?)

3 bars (popped sprockets) (being a stihl man i don't grease as often

as i should!)

1 snapped chain. (a week old)

Exhaust has now developed cracks all-round the spark arrester holding

in screw hole. (£60 plus vat for new exhaust!)

At least three of those points aren't exactly saw specific though and could have happened with any saw.
