Hey all new here, been on the saw near enough 6 years now, only used a handful of different saws. Anyway I'm wondering if any of you know anywhere that has any new 346's left. I know the 550xp is near enough the same saw but I'd like to stick with what I'm used to.

If you find one get spud to port it . You will then have slightly better performance than a 550 with out the auto tune to contend with . He did mine and it pulls a 15" full chiz .325 driven by an 8 pin sprocket........

Who's spud? The 346s I used to use in work had all had the sprockets changed so it would take a 3/8s chain.. Any idea why this would be?

Did they make their own chains up? Likely they changed the chain so they only had to buy one reel of chain for all the saws. Thats the only reason worth changing IMO

Spud is a member on here . Most of my saws have been ported by him . 346 , 372 , 390 , etc etc ...Look up spuds porting thread or his whats on your bench thread to find him .
