Kohler ch730s on Lucas mill engine repair

I have bought a Lucas mill as a non runner. I thought I could sort it myself, but now am admitting defeat. I've got it running, but think there's a problem with the throttle Linkages /governor etc. I'm sure that they have been played about with in the past. So I'm not certain how they should be. Anyone who is familiar with this engine who can sort it for me or knows the best place to send it to please let me know.

Based near Milton Keynes so the closer to there the better.

Thanks. I'm in conversation with these and multi plant in Oxford. Not easy finding someone who wants to work on it for some reason.

Not yet mate, I think I might get lucky, just waiting on confirmation from multi plant that they have a job In Milton Keynes next week. They may p op in and sort it. If not I think I'll be taking it to them.

Have you thought of paul baker from bicester, he is self employed and used to work for barrus who are kohler agents, he is a good old boy, very clever, done some work for me in the past.
