you need to add sbr to the mix and do a bond bridge on sandstone. Too many call backs later otherwise

 

 

Just been looking at bond bridging never seen anyone do that before. Do u do that with all paving? Do you use sbr in your pointing mixes aswell?

Bond bridgeing is only needed on natural stone. Its not pourous so it does not stick.

you mix up sbr and cement as a paste and paint it on the back of the slab prior to laying. Sbr should also be addded to mm the mix.

sbr in the pointing is ok, but watch out it does not get on the slabs or it will stain.

try using easipoint. You mix it up and gun it in. Its mega strong, and 10 colours to choose from. Sand and cement will fail after a couple of years

Really interesting thanks. In last couple if years i havnt had many pavers come loose just odd one but i like anything that adds to quality of what were doing. Iv heard of easipoint will try it out.
