Lightning??

Found this today...

Gunna leave it cause I think it looks cool and it's in the middle of nowhere.

 

Any idea what could have caused this?? It's obviousley a twin leader, but I was wondering if it could have been caused by lightening?? It must have failed some time in the past two weeks, but I dont think we've had any thunder storms.. Only other explanation is it must have split down the leader and collapsed.

If I were you I’d get back there either early morning or evening with a good quality camera as that would make a magnificent picture! There is so much power and drama in that picture – superb :001_smile:
