Well if that's the pinnacle of your wisdom then dear help you because frankly that's complete bollocks.

The real truth is ALWAYS clear cut, there are never any different versions of it, there are no different shades, it is ONE thing.

All the other shades, versions, etc, etc, only come in to play when people want to deny, hide, or alter the truth. Truth is becoming extremely unfashionable and harder and harder to find but if you want a REAL piece of wisdom to cling to, remember that out among all the bullshit it's always there somewhere.

What an extraordinary comment.

I know shooting from the hip is moderately common on forums. I thought the folk on this one had grown out of shooting from the arse.

Extraordinary, really? I simply don't see how that can be the case.

Well i'm not looking to be rude and certainly have no intention to cause offence, apologies to any concerned if I have.

Against that, I stick by my comment resolutely and passionately.

Aint that a lie. :001_rolleyes: Very dangerous slippery slope believing that.

You believe that is true, I don't. That proves that there is no such thing as truth, only personal conviction and collective conviction.

There is in my view a greater danger in pretending there is universal truth than in realising that there isn't and using the knowledge wisely.

I don't need dear to help me, I am well able to do it myself. And can you please moderate your language? It seems to have passed from banter to insult.

In my opinion!

There is a natural division in the EU. Northern European countries and Club Med.

Most of the issues currently with the EU are from those whose coasts touch the Med (and Portugal).

I'll excuse Ireland in this huge sweeping statement, who got a bit carried away with the bank lending.

For info.

More than just about money / economics though. Current administrations only seem to care about the state of the economy. Economically (if) prosperous but morally and spirituallly bankrupt.... hmmm

Any nation that subjects their most humble laborers to competition with foreign slave labor wages?

Has some hard lessons to learn about human nature.

Taking advantage of the humble's about as bad as it gets in my book.

What happened to the idea of trading with only countries that have equal or better standards both labor and environmental wise?

It's like a citizen of a country despising the thought of paying his fellow citizen a decent living wage so vehemently he runs off to some god forsaken hell hole for his labor needs, where he's worshipped like the god he aspires to be seen as.

Be it a king, president or prime minister, that leader's job/duty is to protect the greatest number of their constituents as humanly possible. Protecting them, not trading their livelihoods away on the global slave markets of the world.

Lead by a sustainable example that other nations willingly follow.

the quicker we are out of this money pit the better. what do we get from the EU. we would still trade with the EU even if we were not in the club.

but we abide by there rules. whilst those of other states flout them to our decline.

Ford tetly Dyson all lured away to eorope because our goverments will not stick by companies and keep them in this island.

MEP.s £100.000 a year plus expences. for what. what do they do. yet to se what any MEP has done for the uk.

we pay in 67 mil a year to be a member what could we do with 67 mil.

a lot.

when we were asked in the 70,s it was a common market not a member of a EU parliment who makes rules overides our courts. etc. then i voted NO and if we get a referedum IF then i will vote no.
