Best valued log splitter

I am on the look out for a log splitter. I have a grand to spend on one and wanted your views on which one performs the best and won't break down in 12 months time.

 

Plus will go through most wood without a hitch.

 

Know am asking a lot here but just wanted to make sure that there are some decent models out.

Your probably going to need a bigger wallet! For any decent petrol machine youll be spending over a grand. I dont know much about electric ones.

Id say save up until you have 2 grand , then look at the riko models as advertised on here

It's the same as the handy pro 7. But the handy is cheaper. Just a different colour.

I have a Kilworth 8 ton electric horizontal splitter. I think it cost about a grand. I am very happy with it. Obviously you need 240v on site or a generator.

Internet says they have them, but no one holds stock they come direct from handy, from what I can gather.
