1.
Hi, I saw you were looking to buy either a vemon22 or the ktm 26 log splitter. Which way did you go and what do you think of it now? I am in the same position; I like the diesel engine but worried the 26 will be slower.... Thanks for your time, james

2. I get 6 tonne delivered costs around £690 including delivery to my yard. Bag up myself using scales and only do 20 kilo bags as they are easier to handle. Claim VAT back at the end of year.
3. I got 7 tonne dropped at my yard cost around £690. Yes i have scales and sell in 20 kilo sacks. The VAT i just claim back at the year end
4. I have one of them Rock Venom machines. I had trouble with the engine which was cutting out on me so rang them up and they took the machine back.(I had to take it back though) Anyway came back two weeks later and its just about working ok ho and they brought it back as we live local too them. I would say its a good machine but like another post as said i would be careful about towing??
5. Sealed roof (Roofing felt) and if flat pack then i take its going to be bolts and screws, other than that looks good. But a tad small??
6. :001_smile:Whats the most economically and reasonably priced log splitter out there on the market that runs off deisel or petrol and will be used for partly keeping my log burner going and for selling a few bags too.
7. If you can get a post knocker in then the average up here is £6/7 per meter. I would also check that putting barb on the fence is correct as the horses may get harmed
8. Was also looking at the Rock Venom which is on Ebay at the moment i think it has a splitting power of 22 tonne anyway they are based in Scotland and was going to get them down to yard to what their machine could do before i buy
9. Great Thanks Just put an enquiry into them to see if they will do me a deal on one of them?
10. I sold 25/30 tonne of mixed Larch,Oak,and Birch for £25 per tonne.
11. What size of splitter is it and what's the make? Looks decent size
12. I have a large stack of logs up in Loch Awe that has come off the railway which we are selling. If your interested please let me know as its in 3 meter lenths and some 2 meter lengths and its mostly Larch Oak Willow and Birch and approx between 8/10 tonne. Anyway we will be up on site next Tuesday if you want to have a look around. PM me your details if you want to have a site visit and discuss further
13. Guys I am on the look out for a log splitter. I have a grand to spend on one and wanted your views on which one performs the best and won't break down in 12 months time. Plus will go through most wood without a hitch. Know am asking a lot here but just wanted to make sure that there are some decent models out. Anyway in anticipation Thanks
14. So. What's the best and most economical machine on the market to date and doesn't break the bank to buy?
