Do not be too hard on yourself Tree Beard, you seem to be spot on.

I guess you would have to look at the CS550 Matty, buts its a bit heavier and a few more CC.

 

On paper its got a bit less HP, but may have a little more torque due to its cc.

 

Look at the echo link on the right of the screen.

 

I bought a cs550 and was disappointed,solid build like all my echo gear but found it a bit pedestrian,the 600/610 (620 imminently) is great and the same weight (I think).I think the 550 is more suited to farmers and landscapers (no offence to either)
