Did you ask if you can go and see it in the flesh? Or if too far, arrange for someone else to do so?

 

His feedback looks good but personally I'd want to see it on the ground...

What price has he told you? It is an auction, so bid what you think it is worth - if it is a scam you have nothing to lose as you will be conducting the sale through ebay and will receive the protection that carries. I wouldn't personally try and buy anything I hadn't seen in the flesh, and would not hand over any cash without the item in my possession.

With brakes on one axle, its not road legal, i would pay 4k for it- but i would be collecting in person and paying cash!

 

If you could buy that for 4k you would be onto a real winner - I think you need top add a 1 at the front of that price. I think it is road legal with 1 braked axle too.

Grabbed a very similar one for 5k on ebay 2 years ago- brand new, forestry co going bust. Both axles braked, never been used.

 

I have seen some of the small ones not even make 2.5k at plant auctions.
